The $150 admission is good for Friday – Sunday, including an entire Saturday of programming, with lunch, and morning and afternoon snacks. Early birds get the first whacks at the unicorn piñata!
What’s Happening
Meet your tribe and enjoy a Saturday full of programming with Chump Lady and guests. Mr. CL will give his lawyerly “If It Feels Good Don’t Do It” talk, we’ll have family law experts, panel discussions, and we’ll cap off the evening with bashing a unicorn and listening to Tell Me How You’re Mighty stories, hosted by CN’s own (and Moth radio veteran) UXWorld.
Accommodations
Chumpalooza will be at the Maritime Conference Center in Linthicum Heights, Maryland. It’s near the Baltimore-Washington (BWI) airport — and MCC provides free shuttle service to and from the airport and the Amtrak station. (About a 10-minute ride.)
Accommodations have been held for Chumpalooza attendees at a special rate of $165 a night, which includes meals. All accommodations should be booked directly through the MCC. There are single queen bedrooms and double queen bedrooms and a select number of suites.
All rooms include buffet dinner and breakfast for each person staying in a room.

Welcome meet and greet your fellow chumps at the Deck Club Lounge.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase.
There is a separate recreation room (big screen TV, pool, foosball, ping pong). Drinks can be purchased at the Deck Club Lounge and brought to rec room.
Saturday, November 4th:
6:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m
Breakfast* in the Chesapeake Dining Room.

Optional $15. fee for participants not staying at the MCC.
9:00 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.
Full morning programming of speakers, breakout sessions and panel discussions.
11:15 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Lunch in the Chesapeake Dining Room for all conference participants.
1:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Full afternoon programming of speakers, break-out sessions and panel discussions.
5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m

Breaking of the unicorn piñata:
Participants will have a turn to try to smash the Unicorn in the order of signing up for Chumpalooza!
Followed by our very own UXWorld hosting the FIRST live “Tell Us How You’re Mighty” session based on The Moth style of storytelling. Participation is voluntary. Presenters will work one on one with UXWorld prior to Chumpalooza to develop and refine their story for the audience. 🎤
Sunday, November 5th:

Sunday Morning
Breakout groups for Baltimore area site-seeing. Attendees will be provided with a list of attractions in the area. Chumps may also plan their own get-together for the day.
Food included for Saturday:
In addition to lunch, AM break includes: Coffee, hot tea service, fruit juices, assorted soft drinks, water, assorted breakfast pastries and muffins, seasonal fruit, milk, assorted yogurts.
PM break includes: Coffee, hot tea service, fruit juices, assorted soft drinks, water, cookies, seasonal fruit, chef’s selection of sweet and salty snacks.
