Texas House Republican and state DOGE Committee Chairman Giovanni Capriglione dropped out of his reelection campaign after an admitted 17-year-long affair with an exotic dancer. There’s also some alleged indecencies with cake batter.

Family values Republican, Texas House representative Giovanni Capriglione just dropped out of his reelection campaign last week after he admitted to a long-term affair with exotic dancer and mother of four Alex Grace.
Grace made some pretty shocking revelations. Well, shocking if you don’t have terminal fuckwit poisoning from reading my blog. Of course I believe a right-wing religious nut has a secret sexual basement, because I read my own mail. Jesus cheater? Check. Abortions for me, but not for thee? Check. Pervy with the underaged? Check again.
Capriglione admits to the affair (Grace must have 17 years of receipts) but how DARE you insinuate anything else.

In the sit-down interview with Current Revolt, Grace maintains Capriglione paid for multiple abortions during the course of their affair, despite his publicly held anti-abortion stance. Indeed, the Republican lawmaker authored the 2021 trigger ban law that automatically outlawed abortion in Texas when the U.S. Supreme Court struck down Roe v. Wade.
Grace declined to offer more details on the alleged abortions, telling Current Revolt the publication would “have to go with my word.”
Capriglione, who frequently touts his mission to uphold “family values,” disputes the claims he paid for Grace to have the procedure he was responsible for outlawing in Texas.
“I have never, nor would I ever, pay for an abortion,” he said in his statement.
Capriglione, Dude, your word isn’t exactly your bond. I’m sure you never, ever cheated on your wife too before last week. Restricting women’s reproductive rights is politically expedient. Until a side-chick gets pregnant.
Grace also told Current Revolt that Capriglione paid her when they met up for sexual encounters. The Republican, who is known for presenting tech-focused legislation in the Texas House and serves as chair of the Innovation and Technology Caucus, also used a burner phone and email to communicate covertly, she told the publication.
We’ve had burner phone technology since 2002. But it’s nice to know Capriglione’s current on all the ways to communicate on the down low.
Grace also alleges that Capriglione would make annual trips to Amsterdam’s Red Light District, with his wife’s knowledge.
I’m sure he was there for the Rijksmuseum. His burner phone might say otherwise.
Is nothing sacred?
In one of the interview’s most explosive claims, Grace described becoming uncomfortable when Capriglione mentioned wanting to ejaculate into batter for cookies that would be sold at his daughter’s bake sale. In the video interview, Grace stated that Capriglione said he enjoyed the thought of children — particularly young girls — consuming his semen.
Before Current Revolt’s story had even been published, an attorney representing Capriglione threatened Current Revolt with a lawsuit if the outlet moved ahead with its story, which the attorney characterized as “defamatory.”
I do not have words. I guess the perversion in Texas is bigger too.
However, it makes sense that the only way Capriglione could get anyone to consume his semen would be by chicanery or chocolate chips.
The week has brought a stark reversal of fortune for Capriglione, who just two weeks ago bragged online that he’d won President Donald Trump’s endorsement as he looked ahead to his reelection campaign.
Getting endorsed by the guy who won’t release the Epstein files seems on brand.
My advice is to avoid all political bake sales until further notice.

I looked up the family – he’s married with three daughters. The girls’ smiles seemed genuine when they were little, but one sees different things in their eyes in later pics. Maybe it’s being forced to play wholesome family by a dad who thrills to the idea of his jizz in their young friends’ mouths. The shame is his, girls. Ew. Hope his wife gets mighty now for her sake and theirs.
Makes me think of watching Ted Cruz’s daughter squirm around to get out of his embrace.
I was struck by the same. I remember my teens griping when their dad wasn’t around that they hated pretending we were a happy family in Christmas pictures when we weren’t. I’m sure that I said something about just dealing with it, but ick.
We got pictures taken for the last holiday season that we were together, and I ended up not sending any out. I couldn’t participate in the fake anymore. I found those pictures not long ago while doing a basement purge. The next holiday season, he was gone and never lived in this state again.
We took a relaxed selfie on Mother’s Day in May that I treasure. Nothing posed, just me, the adult kids, and the dog with my messy kitchen in the background. All smiles. Real!

This is utterly disgusting. I read a little more elsewhere, and he decided “After much reflection, prayer, and conversation with my family…” to not seek re-election. But his affair partner went public after that, if I have the chronology right.
Dude, you should have made better choices over a decade ago. And does that fit with supposedly reflecting and praying before ending the re-election bid? The affair partner claims his wife knew. And naturally, his wife and children have reportedly forgiven him, making things “all better” supposedly. The Jesus-speak is horrifying.
I was struck by how quickly the spouses in the kiss cam incident got attorneys involved. Not here, as far as we know, but he’s a Jesus cheater.

It’s a 17 year long affair. Not just an affair from 17 years ago, right? And so, it’s still going unless they just broke up for her announcement. And so does his wife and kids forgive him every day? Do they have a weekly family meeting where they forgive his cheating?

Wives of Religious cheaters get so much pressure to forgive and if they don’t they lose a whole section of woman also fronting for their cheaters with forgiveness.. which is only ENABLING!! I am so over the religious forgiveness garbage. I went to my old church today because I had to pick up something for a friend who is quite ill. Hitting two churches on a hot day wasn’t a go.
And there it was in adult Sunday school, “You MUST forgive seventy-times-seventy, no matter what.” No nuance, no discussion of enabling, or no refusing to let bad behavior go on and on until everything around them is burned to the ground.
I got what I was there for right after that and left.
Elsie, I have found a pastor out of my church who might listen to me with an open heart. He told me he preached on forgiveness and mentioned Corrie Ten Boom forgiving her Natzi prison guard after the war. I told this Pastor that was not me. That repentance was needed and turning around from the lies and how near impossible it is to change character. He listened and said to please write it out for him so he could do better.
I have just written him a thesis on forgiveness and it includes a confession and repentance on how I prostrated myself in front of a bold cheater and how it encouraged him to burrow deeper and keep more of his disgusting secrets. It includes my confession of enabling, forgiving 70×7 and my contribution to his charade. I wrote about wolf in sheep clothing and how righteous anger is not allowed and how necessary it is. I asked who cares for the sheep and who is protecting them from these wolves in the pews? I asked who preaches to the addict, not just hsving them come forward but showinf real heart changes..and who does not just baptize anyone who says they are sorry with their lips. So I will let you know what he says back after he reads my CL thesis. It is not just Pastors. My friend who’s husband abused her and she divorced him, also heard my anger and said I needed to forgive my abuser. I told her God would and my job was to let him go and let others hang on for years and years sacrificing their lives for a cheater to save them. I had been fired. I.am still a strong believer and I have changed where I worship and hear more support..but I need my faith in God to believe all things will be made right again. Not my job anymore.

The exotic dancer/other woman (cough cough prostitute) was perfectly fine screwing around with a married man for fifteen (!) years but was butt hurt when she learned what he was adding to his family’s pancake batter ?! Okey dokey. The level of depravity in the world continues to shock me. Just heard about the doctor in the UK GP Nicholas Chapman who did something equally disgusting to colleagues. The woman who commented on that story pointed out if a psycho does something like that at work, imagine what he does at home. Case in point-Capriglione.
I’m a bit on the fence about “Alex Grace’s” motives for going public. On the one hand, I suspect she was mostly fueled by rage because– likely after almost two decades of future faking that he’d eventually dump his wife and family and after the AP had apparently tried to prepare for life as a political wife by educating herself about politics (would she describe herself as a political analyst if she hadn’t been fucking a rep?)– he would bring her “up in the world” from her trailer park beginnings, he did not.
But, on the other hand, I can also accept that her motives were tinged with genuine political outrage in solidarity with his constituents because she– much like his backwoods constituents– was corrupted and led astray by his hypocritical bs.
In the final analysis, it’s just better that the public knows who and what this guy is so, regardless of her MO and complicity in betraying his family, she at at least did one good thing in her otherwise toxic, depressingly messy existence.

I have zero sympathy for side pieces though it’s still a public service to expose corruption and hypocrisy in public figures.
But as far as her intentions, I think she’s no more committed to public service than a stray cow that stops a crime by wandering onto the highway and causing the getaway car to crash.
Except of course cows aren’t known for being vindictive. But that’s the nature of side pieces and this rep had no grounds to be surprised by how things turned out. I’m sure that, after decades of debasing herself and pickme dancing for scraps and lame promises, she enjoys turning the tables and lashing out. I’m sure she hopes to squeeze a little celebrity out of it and I’m sure she’d invested in hating and blaming the chump and obviously never considered the guy’s kids.
Maybe, for some reason, she wanted out and was afraid that he might retaliate in some way. Coming forward to the public may have looked like her “safest” bet.
Makes sense since she even expressed a kind of bafflement about why she was doing it despite expecting flak and condemnation, as if her right hand didn’t really understand what her left hand was doing but she just found herself acting impulsively. It might have been some subconscious self-preservation instinct overriding her typical side piece “hybristophilia” — the prison groupie delusion that the incarcerated killers or abusers (or liars or thieves) might “spare” them, thereby making them “special” in comparison to perpetrators’ victims. But that delusion might have limits, a point where the enabler wakes up and realizes they might be– oops– next.

At least my GOP Texas Representative is a former White House doctor who enjoys resisting arrest and cussing out law enforcement…using the “F-word” as a noun, adjective, adverb and pronoun. So far, I’m not aware of Jackson having fantasies of yankin’ his crank into cookie batter like the Physics Nerd from Fort Worth.
