Are the Epstein Files Making Sexual Entitlement Uncool?
With the latest dump of Epstein files, I’m wondering if we’re ever going to have a global reckoning about secret sexual basements. The Ashley Madison hack looks positively quaint in comparison to a billionaire pedo ring.
I know that’s like comparing apples to rotten bananas. Ashley Madison is so downmarket, yet also consensual (except to the chumps). If you’re a global elite, you don’t need a dating app to hook up, you just need a well-connected sociopath to fly you to his personal island and introduce you to some trafficked masseuses.
But when the Ashley Madison hack was exposed, I publicly argued that finally the world is seeing what I see on this blog — that double lives are a lifestyle choice for many. Serial cheating is the NORM, not the exception. There is a segment of the population who have a secret sexual basements and the doors are shut for a reason — they want them closed. Because the whole set up is an abuse of power.
What are you guys making of the Epstein files?
I have so many swirling thoughts. Like, are we all so cynical as to be a big whatever about a global ring of child diddlers? (I’m choosing my words carefully given the Google censorship challenges I’m having lately.) I’m actually heartened by the outrage. Like, we can all agree these people SUCK and must be held to account, right? Whatever their political bent, however much humanitarian aid they gave or causes they support, they need to go to jail.
Here’s where I hope our thinking goes next:

Full stop. Not enviable. Not a status symbol. But a shady loser caught in some grainy photo Kompromat. I think harems need to be a bad look.
We need to stop glamorizing sexual entitlement.
Where’s Esther Perel with her exuberant acts of defiance and quests for aliveness now? It seems we are always asked to understand that FWs have needs. And we all failed to enchant. And ethics get fuzzy when nether regions throb, because you aren’t the boss of them.
Have we found the line yet? A gazillion oligarchs and wannabes were off having exuberant quests for aliveness with Jeffery Epstein. Being super special and fabulous at the expense of others — tax payers, shareholders, their spouses, and most of all the victims of their pervy whims.
The women who left these dipsh*ts are mighty.
Let’s begin with disco-shirted dildo-head, Jeff Bezos. (He was just at dinners with Epstein so far as we know.) Mackenzie Scott, his chumped ex, has given away over 19 billion of her fortune to charities. Way to lose the loser, Mackenzie. And Melinda Gates who allegedly left Bill Gates over his infidelities and ties to Epstein. In the latest document dump, Epstein says Bill Gates got an STI from a tryst and tried to put antibiotics in Melinda’s food. (He denies it.)
The New York Post quotes the U.S. Justice Department document dump:
“During the past few weeks I have been caught up in a severe marital dispute between Melinda and Bill,” Epstein wrote in Nikolic’s voice on July 18, 2013.
“… In my role as his right hand I had been asked on mulitple occassion [sic] and in hindsight, wrongly acquiesced into participating in things that have ranged from the morally inappropriate, to the ethically unsound and had been repeatedly asked to do other things that get near and potentially over the line into the illegal,” Epstein continued.
“… From helping Bill to get drugs, in order to deal with consequences of sex with russian girls, to facilictating [sic] his illicit trysts, with married women, to being asked to provide adderall [for] bridge [tournaments] . I feel I owe it to my friends and futre [sic] colleagues to admit a moral failure , to ask forgiveness and to move on with my life.”
How dweeby do you have to be to need a chemical edge to win at bridge? Your opponent is at least 80. Melinda, you are so much better off than this loser.
Trump is named more than 3,000 times in the files.
And that’s after the redactions and the stonewalling. Allegations, hoax, Bill Clinton, yada yada. (Lock him up too.) I said in 2016 this country was in an abusive relationship with Trump. We all know it only gets worse the longer you stay.
Could we all just break up with these freaks and finally hold them to account? Thank you.
I spent 25 years as a State Child Protective Caseworker and helped to put dozens of pervs behind bars, where they belonged. It doesn’t take a trained expert to assess that Trump, the pussy grabber, is a pedo. He’s been showing us for years. The pics of him with young Invanka are puke-worthy.

The Bill Gates story in particular reminds me of how many men, even those who considered themselves “liberals”, used to defend and normalize the sexual exploitation of young women (“girls”) from poor/underprivileged countries. I don’t think many of them were bothered by the fact that some of these women may have only done this in order to support their starving families (while absolutely hating it) or were even coerced into their “service”, I assume (either by their families/spouses or by outside p*mps).
Bill Gates reminds me of my XhC who went to his urologist after his wanderings and apparently got a clean bill of health. On Dday he told me that my 2 years worth of STIs was Not from him! And on 2nd thought, if Bill Gates was trying to add antibiotics to Melinda’s food, he could have attempted to put other things there too..As chumps have found out while in ICU or never found out. Hats off to the Melinda’s and MacKenzies in our rooms who did not fall asleep in a daze while their partners partied them into disease, financial ruin or Accepting the unacceptable. Accepting apologies as fact and looking the other way. Is our country overwhelmed and in a drunken stupor over TMI? Or perhaps we are in the fetal position frozen in place. I pray that is not the case. Surely we have brave men and woman left.
Some of us have most certainly broken up with these freaks, including divorcing them.
But alas, they go on doing what they do because they can. And given enough money and power, they get away with it.
My ex effectively got away with it in some ways. I got what was considered a fair, decent settlement in legal terms from him, and I recovered, financially and emotionally. But he should have gone to jail and more and didn’t. My ex dropped out of sight, thankfully.
But a certain amount of injustice remains, and I’m not sure that the players that were on my ex’s side would handle anything differently if it all went down now. But they showed their colors, and that was that. I’m in a far better place without them.
How many more ruined lives of women and children? I struggle to understand why the “pro-life” folks who vote for this bunch are making excuses for them now. Abortion must be banned at all cost because all (pre-born) life is precious, they say. But once they are born, all bets are off?
My FW finally got escorted to prison but he was on the street for YEARS before anything was done. His (and his family’s) position that it was no big deal and he was paying an unfair price for being an offending pedophile (sex workers and kiddie pix) They blamed me for turning him in …. It’s all over the internet, what’s the big deal? Just a small family matter, I was told.
Sadly, I haven’t gotten much traction by telling my story to people who could have influence to make change. The system is broken, they say. Call xxx (government officials) and tell your story…crickets. Contact the press, Center for Missing and Exploited children, the FBI. All done to no effect.
My FW is cooling in prison for a few years, but at some point he and his like minded kind will be back on the street.
Probably fishing for chumps and victims again. And the obvious fact that the highest levels of our federal government condones this doesn’t give me cause for hope.
I so wish the Epstein files could be a turning point, but I have little confidence they will be. What I think likely is that a line will be drawn with children and young teens, and the drawing of that line will enable cheaters and other skeevy pervs to cast themselves as ethical, their behavior cast as “sex positive” in the same way prostitution is defended as a choice “empowering women,” with only forced trafficking seen as wrong.
The Epstein case first broke into the open in 2006, and really blew up in 2019, and yet Trump, his “best friend,” was elected anyway. After which Trump set about nominating a whole raft of cheaters and pervs–Hegseth being my favorite (hated) example.
Epstein can’t write a complete sentence, yet he was controlling dozens of powerful men (and some women — Fergie, Elisa New, etc.)?!?! He’s a clear idiot who has all of these people manipulated because of — their shared perversions? I mean, is that it?!
As usual, because I have zero acquaintance with this kind of behavior, I have a hard time understanding it. Why would you befriend someone who is not only utterly amoral but also stupid?!? I guess sex trafficking is the only commonality they need?
