Megan Thee Stallion Dumps a Cheater
All Hail Megan Thee Stallion who dumped her cheater, Klay Thompson and refused to be a chump. Shockingly (not shockingly?), she’s getting grief for this.

You have to be some kind of idiot to cheat on Megan Thee Stallion. Add her to the list of amazingly talented, gorgeous, successful women — Beyonce, Shakira, Christie Brinkley — who’ve been cheated on by FWs. In this case the FW was her boyfriend, basketball player, Klay Thompson.
In a statement to the gossip site TMZ, the singer said about her breakup:
“I’ve made the decision to end my relationship with Klay. Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there’s no real path forward. I’m taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity.”

I don’t know if the publicist crafted this, or Megan Thee Stallion herself, but it doesn’t matter. The message is getting out — this woman has self-respect and she’s not going to take his sh*t any longer. SHE is the prize. And she conducts herself accordingly.
No unicorn for you Klay. Go home.
TMZ reports:
The confirmation comes after the singer hopped on Instagram Saturday to share a cryptic note to her Story in which she seemingly accused the NBA star of cheating. She wrote … “Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house… got ‘cold feet.'”
Cold feet, mixed signals are just one signal — this person isn’t available for a relationship.
She went on … “Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don’t know if you can be “monogamous”???? bitch I need a REAL break after this one .. bye yall.”
Find another chump to do your emotional labor Klay. I hope you and your flaccid basketball are very happy together.

Let’s stop putting the onus on betrayed people to be mind readers. The problem is NOT that Megan Thee Stallion couldn’t see he was a cheater, the problem is that HE PRESENTED A FALSE SELF. And enjoyed her investment in him. Like, literally. Apparently she bought him quite a few expensive bobbles.

I’m not familiar with her, but any woman who stands up and says “no path forward” is a hero to me.
The phrase “no path forward” was one of my favorites when justifying why I refused to reconcile. His family and most of the people at my church at the time were questioning me about that. Why didn’t I “try harder”? Can’t God fix anything? Fifteen years of his pill addiction and mental health issues, and then the obsession with s*x. I had tried everything. I was over it.
No path forward.
Eugh, I’m so sorry you went through this. Funny how they always seem to omit the cheater from their “why can’t you do better?” suggestions.
He took off to the beach to find himself. In time, I realized that the blame was mine partially because I wasn’t the one who ran off. I became the target, in part, because I was still around.
But in my religious circles, they tended to blame the wife if there was infidelity, which is just plain garbage. And who unzipped his pants? NOT ME.
I cut off his very religious family and left that church some years later when I decided that I was over with them. The new church has divorced people, many of us chumps. Also, a lot of former spouses of alcoholics/addicts. All good.

Yet another example of how these FW’s are emotional black holes. Entitled to…well everything! Anything! Whenever they want it! Well done, Megan! And if she wobbles, which will all pray she doesn’t, we will also understand. But I’m hoping she has this f***t’rd’s number and has nipped it in the bud forever. It’s bad enough being a private person when this happens with all the petty judgement. I truly can’t imagine what it is like for the person who is a public figure.
There are just TOO MANY VOLUNTEERS out there who lay under cheaters every single night. RESPECT is zero SELF RESPECT SUBZERO. I applaud anyone who ups and leaves a cheaters…there is no other way. Thank you Tracy
